Method

  1. In a bowl, add all the ingredients and knead until smooth and uniform.
  2. Divide the dough into small pieces and then roll each piece out with your fingers until you obtain small loaves about 1 cm in diameter and 6 cm long.
  3. Overlap the ends of each loaf to give them the typical taralli shape.
  4. Once you’ve made all the taralli, immerse them in boiling water for 8-10 minutes, then drain and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 25-30 minutes.
